Had my first day of work yesterday. Spent over two hours cleaning kennels. It should be the only time I have to clean them all myself, though. I'm looking forward to getting to work more with the dogs themselves, which'll be happening soon. I think I'm getting most of my certifications Friday. I don't imagine it'll be too difficult. A big part of it is recognizing canine behavior. After working with the wolves I've pretty good at that. My immediate supervisor and a co-worker started explaining why two dogs were attacking each other, and I think I knew more about it than they did. Anyway, I see now why they scooped me up so quickly, cause I'm way the fuck overqualified for this job. Anyway, it'll get better in the next few weeks. I'm looking for additional work in the morning. No luck so far. I'm thinking about volunteering at the libary or something, maybe. Well, I'd better go, I've got a few errands to run before work today.
