So I'm doing relief again today. Its my first full day, & only my 3rd day in the 3 weeks since I've been back. I'm back in again tomorrow as well, not sure for a full or half day yet. So I touched down Sat night, came home to put down my bags, & then headed out to Sin "for a little while" despite my green machine being unable to start. As Jess pointed out though, it never really is "just a little while", & I ended up chatting outside until goths started flowing out the door & down the stairs...

So I didn't end up going to the Covenant gig. In hindsight I wish I did. Instead I was shuttling between McDonalds, Az & Jess's pre Europe departure drinks, the Horror Shop, sending my sis & Henry home cuz his car got locked in a carpark, & beach house shenanigans...

So yesterday in my yr 8 maths class, I'm teaching the kids how to calculate the area of a triangle...

The longest Wednesday
Had a full day @ school from 9-4, followed by a shift @ Market City tavern with the WAPL from 6-10. Got to the Tattoo Artist's Ball @ the Voodoo Lounge to see Toddy's suspension show a little after 11. The program said he was on at 1.15, which means really he started at closer to 2. So some kid just rides past my house on his bike.
My mom's out in the garden doing her thing with the flowers.
The kid goes "Hey, does Mr Siow live here?"
My mom says yes.

"He's so cool, he's my teacher!"

Mom pops her head in the house to announce.
Mr Siow updates his LJ.
