Alas..
I have finished my Family Comm class and I have done well.. (I think). I have an 87% before the final paper, the final, and participation. The only thing is the final + the final paper = 50% of my grade. So let's hope today was a good day for me!
For those of you who I've told slim-fast is gross, I need to apologize. Turns out, I was buying the wrong kind. I was buying the protein extra-creamy shakes - the coffee flavor is ok but the chocolate's just gross. I bought some Optima (Cappucino and Chocolate) and so far, much better. I've only had the cappucino so far, but at least it doesn't taste like barium swallow... Don't ask me how I know that. *shudder* And if you'd like to have a similation of swallowing what tastes like liquid chalk, come on over and I'll share some of my protein slimfasts w/ you.
My raspberries got smushed by the grapes in my lunch box.. Makes them all gooey.
I'm trying to skip work today so that I can stay home and celebrate being done w/ my class by cleaning, but I'm not too sure how that's gunna go.. I'm going to wait until 10:00 to call my friend Lil to see if she wants the hours. Last time I called people at 9:30 I woke them up and people don't like to be woken up.. Specially not to be asked to work.
Jacob doesn't get off of work until 5:00 today, which means he won't be home until 6:00, which makes me sad. I'm going to have to go work out by myself today, I spose. I can't wait until I buy my elliptical and I can just work out at home instead of having to get dressed, get my shoes on, walk down to the gym, hope no one's there, etc. I just have to wait for the store to get them in and I can pick one up.. But they're not supposed to get the shipment until like, the end of this week, maybe next.. boo hoo! I mean, if I wanted to get the $230 one I could get it now, but I don't reeeally want to spend that much. I gotta save my money for St. Augustine :-D
SPEAKING of St. Augustine.. Less than a week and a half to go! It's actually one week and three days until we leave- o.m.g! You have absolutely no idea how excited I am. For one reason in particular, but I'm not going to talk about that. Maaybe when I get back, but not right now. But yeah- our room will be beautiful, the weather's gunna be great. It's going to be so romantic and I can't begin to imagine what it'll be like sitting on the pier, watching the fireworks for the 4th. Ok, so it's not a month in Spain and a weekend in Paris, but still. It's going to be p-h-e-n-o-m-e-n-a-l. And maybe next year we can do Spain and Paris :)
Did I show you where we'll be staying? I know I gave a link to the room, but here's a link to the B&B. Check out the map- we're two blocks from the water and in the middle of Old St. Augustine! Next check out the guest amenities. That's right - we get amenities! They provide hot breakfast and have an evening social hour where they first serve a light snack and then dessert!
