The first week of summer classes is over - only three more to go! I love the idea of summer classes, compressing a subject into just one month - which is why I am so incredibly glad that I managed to get PI 100 (The life and works of Jose Rizal) this summer, because I don't know how I'd be able to deal if I took it during a regular semester. All that Jose-Rizal-related agony stretched over the course of 5 months? No thanks. I'd rather get it over with right now plz. I'm also taking Physics lab this summer, and once I'm done with this I'll be Physics-free for the rest of my life! SO EXCITED :D
Its been incredibly hot this summer, the weather has been consistently over 35 degrees D: But at least Glee is back! (lolz whatta transition) I don't really care how camp and ridiculous people think this show is, I love it just the same.
One more thing to be excited about the return of Glee is the mini Spring Awakening reunion - Lea Michele, JONATHAN GROFF, Jenna Ushkowitz. Now if only my love John Gallagher showed up I'd die happy :)) But let's talk about Groff for a moment. Mygash, I've never really found him hot before Glee. HAHA I blame it on that Hello duet and his seriously amazing voice. FFUUUUU- I really really want Jesse and Rachel to end up together, the way the show is handling the Rachel/Finn relationship pretty much sucks - way to make me totally not want them to end up together. KAMOWN, I know Jesse is using Rachel to spy on New Directions, but I just want them to be togetherrrr and sing and be awesome. I have hope for this couple! Don't let me down, show. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that part of my love for this pairing comes from the fact that I want Melchior and Wendla to finally get their happy ending. Heh
SPRING AWAKENING! The appearance of Groff on Glee has resulted in me rewatching my bootleg copy of the Off Broadway performance and rekindling my love for the show (and the original broadway cast). Moritz has always been my favorite, and not just because I love John Gallagher, but also because I related to him the most.
Roughly 18 more days to go. They'll be over before I know it, right?
//BTW, I'm STILL bummed that I didn't get to watch the Manila production of Spring Awakening last September. :( Annnnd my heart broke a little bit today when I remembered the time that I wanted to watch Spring Awakening when we were in NY last 2007, but my mom wanted to watch Les Miserables (which was amazing, but still). D: Well, I don't think I could've convinced her anyway since Lea Salonga was playing Fantine at the time. We got to meet Lea Salonga at the stage door and everything, BUUUT STILLL D: Missed opportunity! :(
