Amazon's good too. O_o
I felt eclectic today, so you get some variety! I tried to pick lots of international music and things that are completely unlike one another. Maybe this will expand some people's minds or something.
Special Unrelated Note: I found this awesome band called The Gadsens.
Listen to their music on their MySpace. I especially recommend "The Sailor Song," "Stalker's Tango," And "I Only Want To Be With You." I don't have a MySpace account, so I can't download any of their tracks, but could someone who DOES have an account give me some their songs somehow? I would greatly appreciate it! XD
Songs are hosted on
Box.Net for the most part.
Artist: Daisuke Ishiwatari and Koh-Ichi Seyama (Guilty Gear XX)
Title: Holy Orders (Be Just or Be Dead)
Album: Guilty Gear XX OST
Language: Instrumental
Length: 3:01
Size: 5.09 MB
Let's start with something familiar. I love the Guilty Gear XX soundtrack; this is Ky's theme. This song consists of heavy, fast and furious electric guitars set over a mildly church-like background (organ/harpsichord noises). If you like rockin' guitars, get this.

Title: Krasivaya Lubov' (Beautiful Love)
Album: Народный артист. Необыкновенный (People's Artist. Unusually)
Language: Russian
Length: 3:12
Size: 4.41 MB
This is a tribute to the wonders of globalization. XD This song has a distcintly Indian feel, but it's from Russia. Yay for cross-cultural madness! If you know Bollywood, you know what this song sounds like. (And if you like Bollywood, pick this up. ^^)
[Download] Artist: Libera
Title: Far Away
Album: Angel Voices
Language: English
Length: 3:14
Size: 4.44 MB
Lots of people asked me to put up more Libera, and I was going to put this up anyway, so it all works out! XD This is the first track on their CD and my grandmother's favorite song. Starts with a beautiful solo, and then-well, boy's choirs are awesome. If you like pretty, calming, or choral music, get this.
[Download] Artist: Los Kjarkas
Title: Soy Caporal
Album: Can't find it, sorry @_@
Language: Spanish
Length: 3:45
Size:3.43 MB
Let's start stretching your comfort zone. XD A friend of mine sent this to me. This is a traditional folk song from Bolivia that plays around carnival time (right now, actually, since their seasons are reversed). It has panpipes and a rousing chorus of male singers. It starts out slow, but will probably grab you once the panpipes join in. If you like traditional spanish music, try this. ^_~
[Download] Artist: The Go! Team
Title: Bottle Rocket
Album: Thunder, Lightning, Strike
Language: English
Length: 3:42
Size: 6.26 MB
This is more like the stuff I normally put up here. XD The Go! Team is another of those bands that is totally having a good time and demands that you have one too. They have sorta-low-tech recordings on purpose; it makes them sound more spur-of-the-moment. Lots of noise, sampling and hip-hop influence, lots of instruments (Harmonicas! Trumpets!), and it's guaranteed to cheer you up no matter how bad you're feeling. If you like Junior Senior, you will DEFINITELY like The Go! Team.
[Download] Artist: FLOPPY
Title: Kimi wa Suteki
Album: FLOPPY
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:11
Size: 3.84 MB
I was putting up this song for a friend anyway, so I said "hey, why not." FLOPPY is very odd. They are definitely a group that you will either enjoy or HATE. Their strength lies in their background accompaniment, which is very digitized. Techno-y too, I guess. Their main singer isn't the best, but he's got good effort! If you like technology/digital-sounding music, you will probably like FLOPPY. If you don't, you should probably stay away. XD

Artist: Choro Club feat. Senoo (Aria the Animation)
Title: Hoshikage no Gondola
Album: Aria the Animation OST
Language: Instrumental
Length: 2:49
Size: 6.47 MB
For
nikitsuki. YAY SOMEONE ASKED FOR ARIA YAAAAAAAAAY~! A much slower, more calming song, still with beautiful spanish guitars. Also has a piano and a cello in the back for added effect! If you like classical/spanish guitar GET THIS SONG.
[Download] Artist: Hitomi Yaida
Title: Aitai Hito
Album: Yaiko's Selection
Language: Japanese
Length: 4:42
Size: 4.31 MB
I'm surprised that an anonymous requester asked for Hitomi Yaida. She's not popular with the FMS crowd, from what I can tell (or everybody already has all the songs that I have or something). Anyway, her singing style is closest to Shiina Ringo; she isn't quite that nasal, but she does have a yowling quality to her voice. It's pretty, though. Her music sounds like folky + rock. Anyway, this song starts out soft, but gets more upbeat as it goes on. It's a little on the slow side, but a good song nonetheless.
[Download] Artist: Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Title: Revenge of the Sugar Plum Fairy
Album: Christmas Eve and Other Stories
Language: Instrumental
Length: 4:16
Size: 5.88 MB
For
yue_d. Remember how I said I don't like putting up christmas music during not!christmas? Yeah. Oh well, anything for the customer. This is...Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies from the Nutcracker (and I think another song from the Nutcracker, too), rocking out style. If you like TSO, pick this up.
