hey guys ! ♥
havn't updated in a while........but all last week i was up north. the weather was beautiful!! we were mostly out on our boat tubing or hangin out at the marina or around town. we went to charlevoix one morning to shop then went to bay harbor later that day and my mum and i went to the spa! we got facials an dpedicures. ahh so nice. i looove bay harbor, if you've never been there, either w/ me or w/ ur fam...shame shame! another day we went to macinaw city to shop but there were only fudgie (tourist) stores, so it was kind of a bummer. but there was this store that anything you bought changed colors in the sun! it was uber-fab. so i bought 2 rings, with a sun and a heart. the guy who was helping me tried to hit on me then tried to get me to give him a tip....i just laughed it off. lol!
we visited miss lindsey and the alexanders who i havn't seen them all since new years so that was fun. then we went back to the marina and watched fireworks. one house next to the marina was having a party and the little kids were letting off those huuge illegal fireworks and one little boy threw a M-80.....my dad said it was like a grenade! it was sooo effing loud and scary!
Sooo we came home Sunday, Monday night i watched the Stoney Creek metro park fireworks from our guest room's window. very cool!! and then yesterday was the 4th - hope everyone had a great one! We didn't do too much except go out to dinner and then came home. We didn't have fireworks this year because we decided to buy them at the last minute but couldn't find any. hah. oh well, i watched everyone's elses so it was all good.
Hopefully if the weather becomes more promising later this week i'll go to the beach w/ mah girlies. or something. We gotta all hang out because i'll be off to camp next week at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp from the 13th till the 24th! I'm really excited for that tho! I found the blue lake LJ community and it really is helpful for newbies like myself.
