this morning while I was studying for my Latin midterm (which was both simpler and more hideous than I thought it would be, and is an example of when it is possible that studying too much can be the only way to study enough), obviously I was down in the arcade in the bottom of the MU (obvious cos I spend almost all my free time there), and the guy whom I had previously dubbed "Mr. Magic Feet" was playing Dance Dance Revolution. for the first time ever, in all the long hours I ahve spent down in the arcade, watching people play DDR and listening to the tales of other great DDR legends, Mr. Magic Feet played one of the harder Heavy songs (crushingly, I cannot recall which one it was), and ---
... ba-dum ...
... ba-dum ...
... ba-dum ...
HE TRIPLE A-ED IT!
That means he had an unbroken streak of perfects for the WHOLE SONG. Every single step was exactly right. And I WAS THERE TO SEE HIM DO IT.
That Was Amazing.
another cool thing that happened today was while I was riding home on the shuttle, the girl behind me got on her cell phone and was talking... WEDDING! I got to listen to one half of a real live wedding planning conversation. one thing that she was talking about that I thought was a really cool idea is to get shot glasses engraved with stuff (evidently she had her name, her fiancee's name, and "faith, hope, love" on them) and use them as votive candle holders cos they're way cheaper than regular votive holders and you can have more options as for what they look like, and (I thought of this) it would be a super-cool versatile wedding favor to let people leave with.
ok, now I'm in a wedding mood. byebye!
