today
I was actually up for a long time today; I woke up around sixish even though my alarm was set for 10:15. it might have been because I was to go to tony's house today, and whenever something is going to happen that I look forward to, I get up insanely early no matter how late I stay up. so anyway I wasn't going to leave until 12:30 so I had quite a bit of time to kill, which I used up by watching some episodes of The Office that my brother got from his friend blake. I hadn't ever seen it before and now I am hooked. I must find ways to get more. I also took a shower. ahh... wonderful cleanliness.
being at tony's was fantastic. I hadn't seen him in ages and it was great to hang out again. I finally saw wayne's world 2 a few days ago (AND LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!) so we messed around with quotes and stuff for awhile. I had brought over some of my poems because he had the idea of letting richard (his brother, not my richard) read them and maybe incorporate some in his graphic novels. I'm getting shades of Abe in my head when I think of thta and am very excited. unfortunately I forgot that all the poems I brought over were originals, and I didn't have copies of them at home, so he couldn't keep them, but that will soon change. plus, I can't find my really dark poems, and those are the ones richard is interested in... dang it. I also got to look through an art book tony had recently bought that was woodcuts of scenes from the Bible. I can't remember the guy's name except his last name started with a D and I had seen his work before. he plied his craft in the 1700s. they are incredibly beautiful. I love the way he works with light and symbols especially.

the pre-book warning label is hilarious. I'll have to borrow it sometime and post it on here because it is priceless.
he also has a wireless amp setup that I didn't get a chance to hear but looks totally awesome and, according to him, works like a charm. that's going to be a Godsend... no more yards and yards of cables and cords that all look alike! plus he got his own microphone so he doesn't have to keep stealing the tech mike at school... shhhhhh Haley don't tell anyone I told you that...
that reminds me, he recently learned how to play the X-Men theme. it sounds awesome, even on acoustic! we didn't listen to much music this time; just some megadeth and then he played me foxxy lady by request because I always ask for that. it just sounds so cool! it's one of my favorite jimi hendrix songs. if tony didn't have an aversion to guns 'n' roses I'd have him play sweet child o' mine, patience, and don't cry OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again... oh gosh I'm only a LITTLE crazy about axl rose... stop looking at me like that.... !! :D
nothing really interesting happened when I got home. for a while my tablet wasn't working, so I had zero mouse action, but eventually I figured it out and fixed the problem.
