The Project
it is a Lego building project. Brickfactory is a site that has scans of the building instructions for almost every Lego set. this includes, of course, the materials lists. I desire to build, or have someone(s) build with/for me, the Echo Base and forest moon of Endor bunker sets (they're listed under Star Wars Classic Page 2). there are various aspects with which I would appreciate company and/or assistance.
1. I will permanently borrow my brothers' Lego collection. I need to search through it to find all the pieces from the two materials lists. I would LOVE help with this especially.
2. there will probably be a great many pieces that collection does not have, at which point I might ask wyatt to let me look through his collection. it won't really matter if things get mixed because my brothers aren't going to ask for anything back anyway.
3. there will probably be specialty pieces that neither collection contains. at that point, if anyone is feeling generous, I would like to borrow as many of those pieces as are available. do not worry; I will make a meticulous list of which pieces are whose, so they can be returned to their proper owners.
4. there will probably be super duper specialty pieces which nobody has (or which no one is willing to let me borrow). at that point, I'll just take a trip to the Lego store and buy them there, or online. I would like company to the Chandler mall, and it would be a great excuse for you to come along and revel in Legoness.
5. then there is the matter of building the thing itself. I could do it by myself, but it's more fun with other people because I am a social creature.
I do not expect that this project will be done with anything resembling speed. I have classes and the associated homework, so I'm taking a rather casual approach to it.
