Either through their beauty, their simplicity, their content, or their sentimental value these songs all make me cry. Most of the songs on this list require a certain mood or at least a few listens to produce actual tears, though "Circle Game" gets me so bad that I have to stop listening halfway through.
Mad World--Micheal Andrews (so haunting..)
Hallelujah--Rufus Wainwright (EVERYONE cries)
Sometimes it Snows in April--Prince (so beautiful and sad)
Piano Man--Billy Joel (Just listen to the lyrics. It doesn't get me every time, though)
I Wish I Could Go Back to College--Avenue Q (I know it's Avenue Q..)
America--SImon and Grafunkle (Simple, beautiful.)
Fire and Rain--James Taylor (A soulful song. Makes me think about all of my friends and once-friends.)
Look What You've Done--Jet (Look what you've done, you've made a fool of everyone!)
Another Lonely Day--Ben Harper (Read the title, 'nuff said)
Adia--Sarah MacLaughlin (Nights in Willow's room with Emma and the smell of Nag Champa...)
Homeward Bound--Simon and Garfunkle (I think we all just wanna go home..)
The Circle Game--Joni Mitchell (I can't listen to this song all the way through without legitimately crying. It's such a simple reminder that we're all growing up, and you can't ever be a kid again and..there I go)
The Boxer--Simon and Garfunkle (I am just a poor boy, though my story's seldom told....)
A Little Fall of Rain--Les Mis (Eponine dies in the arms of her lover who she never got to be with.)
By My Side--Godspell (Talia. and it's a beautiful song)
Home to Me--Tyrone Wells (Kind of on the lines of Homeward Bound. It's comforting.)
Happiness--You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (I just really like it. And it's the first song on the CD Robin made me.)
What a Wonderful World--Louis Armstrong (If this song doesn't fill you with emotion, you're made of stone.)
I'm not sure why it was necessary to make that an entry. I just kind of forgot about livejournal and I'm bored, so why not?
