the hardest parts of growing up: (by alexa.)
not trying to be pretty anymore, realizing you're not.
knowing you'll keep being in love, even though you still think of getting hurt every day. (worth the risk.)
forgetting the things you used to know. (i can't remember if periods are supposed to go before or after these parenthesis.).??
being sick, and having to take care of yourself.
feeling like you should always have earrings on so you look like a lady when you leave the house.
$$. bummer.
and the best parts of never growing up:
trips to the zoo. complete with new stuffed animal at exit.
never wearing shoes unless you absolutely have to.
bubble baths until your skin wrinkles.
always being excited for summer.
finding pressed leaves you put in the phonebook from last october.
and the third installment would be the best parts OF growing up. but those at this moment are too completely marvelous to share.
