Ebony's week skip
Day 10: Ebony wakes up in the morning fairly early and leaves the mall shortly thereafter, telling Jay she has some business to attend to, and that she'll be back later, but not to worry. She goes to the place she shot all those people, expecting to find their bodies still there. When she gets there, none of the bodies are still lying around. Ebony is unsure whether this means the bodies were found and removed by someone else...or that the people she shot may not be dead after all. Not wanting to be spotted in the area, she decides to head back to the mall, carefully making sure she's not followed by anyone. She reaches the mall in the evening since it's a long walk to and back from the forrest where the shootings took place. Ebony makes it back to the mall in time for dinner and discovers that Luke is back in the mall. She's not sure what to think of this considering her and Luke's past history, but has no great objections. His return does make her suspicious however, but Ebony keeps these thoughts to herself.
Day 11: The next morning Ebony eats breakfast with everyone and things go well. She dodges Jay's questions about her whereabouts the other day, saying that she just had some business to take care of and for him not to worry about it. They discuss what happened in the cage room and make amends. She's still irritated with Amber, but hides it fairly well, deciding it best to just avoid her all together for the time being. Her mood is light and fairly believable. When Salene offers the cloud room to the both of them, it puts Ebony in a good mood. She very much likes the idea of a bigger room, and considers it to be a kind of peace offering between her and Salene, and doesn't pay much attention when Salene mentions Ryan's kids. The rest of the day goes by without incident, and Ebony opts to stick close to the mall so Jay has a little bit of time to get over his suspicion. That evening, Ebony welcomes Alice back to the mall before going to bed with Jay in their new room.
Day 12: Ebony wakes up and has breakfast, thinking about how she's going to approach Salene about a collaborative effort in finding out what's going on with the city. Still doesn't think she has enough information to give her yet, but decides to go out that afternoon once more into the city to see if she can uncover anything. When Jay leaves with Ved to fix Bray, Ebony takes the opportunity to slip out for a while. She goes into town and walks around in the market place. The feeling is the same as before, and she witnesses a fight break out between two kids. She decides to head back to the mall shortly thereafter. That evening Ebony asks Jay about how things went with fixing Bray. After some dinner and a long hot shower, she crawls into bed next to Jay.
Day 13: During the announcement of the arrival of all of Ryan's kids to the mall, Ebony has to hold back from saying anything, but she's obviously not all that thrilled about the idea. She thinks the addition of Ryan's kids will only distract Salene more from her job as city leader, and doesn't understand why no one else seems to have noticed this. Her mannerisms indicate that she's not pleased, but she doesn't voice her opinion. Later on that day she decides to take a walk with Jay out in the city to get some fresh air. The walk goes well, but Ebony uses the time to take in how things in the city appear to be. Another fight breaks out but it's soon broken up by a third party and she never gets to find out the reason behind it. During the walk, Jay gets confronted by someone who recognized him as the former general of the Techno's. They still held a sizable grudge and tried to start something, but Jay delt with it very well. Ebony thought it best to call their stroll to an end and they two of them went back to the mall in high spirits. That night, they ate dinner, and went to bed.
Day 14: Not much happens today. Ebony lounges around a bit, takes it easy. Talks to Siva for a while. Not a lot happens today. She makes a surprise candle lit dinner for her and Jay in their new room.
Day 15: Ebony wakes up and goes out into the city once more, making up her mind to talk with Salene the next day, telling her (most) of what she knows, and putting an offer out on the table. Things go largely without incident the rest of the day.
