I am sick of people posting about how they are sick of people posting about how they are sick of people posting about bandom, people! Or something. What about those of us who are largely indifferent either way, huh? If you cut us, do we not say ow? Where's our banner to get behind?

I love you guys really. Have a love meme to prove it!

Reply to this post, and I will write one thing I love about you. Maybe more than one. Then (if you want) repost to your own journal and spread the love.

Have added the answers people didn't get for last week's lyric meme. And also added the songs here so that you may be properly ashamed of yourselves educated.

Garbage - Special

Fugees, Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes & Forté - Rumble In The Jungle

Primal Scream - Rocks

Blind Boys of Alabama - Shall Not Walk Alone

Panjabi MC - Mundian To Bach Ke

ABC - When Smokey Sings

Orlando - Furthest Point Away*

Kanye West - Jesus Walks

The Supremes - Where Did Our Love Go?

Mama Cass - Getting Better

Rufus Wainwright - Imaginary Love

Al Green - Here I Am (Come and Take Me)

*A point about Orlando: ten years ago (god.) there was romo. Romo consisted of mostly fey young men in eye make-up and flamboyant clothes singing emotionally overwrought and overly wordy songs (sound familiar?) to an audience of 12 adoring fans. Orlando had a kind of indie-pop-soul sound. They were Tim (vocals) and Dickon (words) and they were, I think, the most well known of the romo bands. They were an acquired taste. Tim's vibrato-heavy singing style takes a bit of getting used to. But this song's got a fantastic, Northern Soul-esque stomping beat and I still love it ten years later. Try it, you might like it.

The weather's getting colder, which is equal parts yay! and where is my hat.

I dreamt last night that I was in a little Japanese sort of supermarket, with all manner of plastic goodies and all the bento boxes one could want to choose from. Unfortunately it was just a dream so I will have to continue trawling through eBay.

I have to go to Leeds twice next week, to register at an agency and on Friday for an interview. I am trying not to think too much about the interview in case I melt into a puddle of fear. I don't think I'll get the job; I'm not entirely convinced I *want* the job, but it's good interview practice. Is what I'm telling myself.

Speaking of Leeds, I am obviously rooting for Mel B on this year's US Dancing with the Stars. And she is good, judging by her cha cha. I love her and her awful taste in home decorating (if you ever get a chance to see her cribs episode from way back, watch it).
