I have a beetly thing in my kitchen. I've been trying to identify it on the internet, but since I don't know if it's *really* a beetle, this is proving difficult. I just want to know if it's eating my house or something

Spiders are much better houseguests than flies. I held a tarantula once, with some trepidation. She stepped so delicately across my hand, a remarkable feeling.

And flats above shops are better than flats in blocks, I suspect. Bun lives over a framing shop.

I held a tarantula once, when I was about seven. I remember it being very furry and strokeable. I've always liked spiders.

Flats above shops are good as long as they're not open-at-night shops. I looked at a couple that were above takeaways and I can't imagine they would be pleasant places to live for a quiet-loving person.

It's amazing, isn't it? It's so *raw*. I really don't know how she manages to be so awesome, but I hope she remains so awesome for many years to come.
