Here I Go Again on My Own...
I left last Friday for Ireland, and now I'm in Scotland. I went to see the Oxegen Festival in Ireland, some really great bands. Now I'm here in Scotland to see the Strokes and the Pixies play. I have a friend in the Strokes, so I came to see him, and do a little work out here.
If you hadn't heard, we just secured the rights to a new movie "Fever Pitch". An adaptation of the book High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. Jimmy Fallon is playing opposite me. *smiles* I'm looking forward to it.
I know this update is falling a bit flat. I've been really together and secure in myself for a couple of months now. I really got a handle on my life. And then something just kinda knocked me off my path. I lost my footing, and I'm having an issue getting it back. *sighs* And I look up and realize that I've let all my friends slip away. I'm just not myself these days. Rejection didn't help my ego much either. *laughs* I'll get over it. All of it, soon enough, I'm sure. I don't stay down for long.
But in the meantime, I feel all alone, and I have no one to blame but myself.
Which just sucks...
