Long days and short tempers
The days are long and hot and I did so enjoy the freedom which the Spring Break afforded to me. The Houses Divide
There was a full cast call for rehearsal today and so I and all my fellow performers attended the auditorium. I studied all night, yet my weariness was totally banished as the sun rose above the horizon. The beauty of the dawn was beyond compare, the colours melding into a passionate fire that lit up the sky and inspired me to be able to face the day afresh ( Read more... ) -
How? What? Huh?
I had been looking forward to this year, it was meant to be my year. It was all going so very well - I had the Presidency of the Drama Club that I’d worked so hard for, I had the drama teacher in the palm of my hand - even when the teacher changed, I thought I had impressed the new girl.
Where did it all go so wrong? How did he get the part?

Heather really is taking her time in picking a Romeo - she obviously cannot see what's in front of her face. She's called me in to audition once more this afternoon. Meet and greet
I've been on a mission this week to meet and get to know as many of the potential cast and crew as possible. I was disappointed to find out that my Juliet doesn't even intend to tryout for the part, which was a real blow - plus she was very stubborn, I turned on the patented Eric charm and their was still no moving her on the fact. And this year's winner is...
Well, yesterday's meeting seemed to go well. We had a great turnout and a lot of new and eager faces.
The play got put to the vote and Romeo and Juliet won it by a nose. So here I go to brush up my Shakespeare, as Cole Porter would say...
Wonder who my Juliet will be...
Oh and the auditions times are yet to be arranged.
