Little Dreams
OK, so a nice little dream which came true today. The school i work in took delivery of two Apple Mac computers, one iMac and one breathtakingly powerful Mac Pro. Admittedly they are only testbeds, but its a start from my point of view, and long may it continue!
I think here is an important time to make a note that although i personally find that using a mac has changed my outlook on computers, and i wish them all the success that comes their way. I really don't want them to become this massive monopoly like Microsoft has grown into.
Macworld Expo '09 was a disappointment for it being their last time there with two general sofware updates to iLife and iWork, and the new 17" MacBook Pro. Boring! Although they're leaving i feel its the right choice. Apple has found its feet after the horrors of the early and mid 90's and i think its out-grown the set release timetable of various Expo's and other events, and its the right choice to release products when its ready. Also it will remove these stock dives that happen after every scheduled Keynote, simply because its never enough of what anyone wants.
