I am not liking summer so far. I hate how I stay up so late and wake up so late, I hate how everything feels hot and lazy, I hate how I fell hot and lazy. I have not really accomplished anything, except for finishing two wonderfully interesting books: DIARY by Chuck Palahniuk and TEMPLE by Matthew Reilly. I just bought Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. It sounded promising. I've only read to page 7, so I'm not sure how I like it.
Your last thought makes me think the most. People just don't want to do anything anymore. Experiences evoke growth, and without change people are going to cease to create. When I think about all the different things we could be doing, and then what people actually do...I get depressed. I don't know if it's apathy, or laziness, or something unknown (maybe it's truly human nature)but this stagnant growth has become a force of evil to which I have dedicated my life.
At least that's how I explain the reason I date slackers.

I couldn't help it; I bought HAUNTED yesterday and now I can't put it down. It is diturbing, thus interesting.
