Josh called and asked if Lauren and I wanted to head up to Vegas to party with him. For someone I read about in the paper getting busted? He sounded in good spirits. We're in the middle of an evacuation anyway and it's not like the parents cared where I went. I asked for some cash and Dad handed it over.
Lauren's parents paid her off too. Nothing like your parents paying you to get the hell away from them. Josh said he had a friend with him, but wouldn't say who. It's a surprise. Swear to God if we get there and he's kidnapped Theresa or Amber? I'm getting right back in my car and driving off. Not in the mood to deal with that drama.
