Nick Baker is a dead man. That freak better be on his knees thanking Mother Nature for sending an earthquake that shut down school. I'm going to rip his fucking arms out of their sockets the next time I see him. No one flips out on me and gets in some lucky punches just to walk away. Fuck that. I'm going to pound him into the ground. I hope he liked that hospital visit because he's heading right back there.
Lauren came and got me from the school. Took me back to her place because her fucked up parents were gone again. We were talking about what to do to Baker and his friends when the earthquake hit. I grabbed her and got her under the doorframe. Then we waited the aftershocks out. Her Dad called and said he couldn't come home because he had patients. The fuck? For all he knew his daughter was home alone in the middle of an earthquake.

So, I stayed the night with her. School is out. No clue when it will be back in and I'm ready to ditch this town soon. Think I'm going to approach the parents about getting some cash and taking a road trip. It's not like Lauren's parents will say no. Chris is being shipped off to his Grandparents so maybe Josh can pop in on us if he isn't too busy.
