Sometimes I get the weirdest calls at work...

A photo clerk, or photo associate, as we call them, called to ask for "credit" (kinda like a refund) for an order a customer placed for  a calendar.

I said, "Ok, lets check the system". There were two orders for the same customer, 2 different sizes of calendars, I checked the one the clerk was talking ot to my surprise the order was kinda messed up, it had a duplicate image, and the customer wanted 2. Ok, no prob., lets do a redo for this. I said to the clerk to describe me the photo that was missing to check for it on the order we had on the system, since she didn't know exactly, she passed me to the customer. "This may get ugly...", I thought.
Ok, I told the customer that we have 2 orders for her on the system, the one she had there at the store and an order for two smaller sized calendars that it was shipped recently. She told me that she didn't order the bigger calendar, she had ordered the 2 smaller ones. Hmmm... mix up on the system or screw up from the clerks...? most definetely the latter... but since it was also a screw up on our part, not totally but partial, it was still my duty to help the customer, so I was going to make the notes on the system for it.  But first, the customer wanted to check on the other order to see if it was right. Ok, no problem by me, it's better because maybe there was a mess up also and we needed to redo them...
She told me that  she ordered calendars a year ago, and "we" screwed them up (oh... what a surprise... *rolls eyes*). We redid them, but she got them way past Christmas... mid-January... but she still hoped that we can do a good job this year (talk about blind faith).
To our surprise there only was one mess-up, an image in a month of the calendar got mixed with another month, other than that it was good. So the customer said that she'll accept those anyway, since it's a minor mixup, not to influential, so I told her again that those calendars were shipped and they should be in the store soon, and I told her about the credit for the other calendar, then she asked me that if she can keep it to show it to her sons that were on College since those calendar were a gift for them (the calendar is of her sons growing-up, awwww), I said to her that the store needs to keep the calendar in case we need it back, just for personal records, then she told me that she didn't mind and that she'll pay for the messed up calendar. "Uh... No problem then. Uh... Is there anything else I can help with?", "No that should be all.". Wow... "Thanking for calling Ms. and have a nice day.".

On training we were thought the FISH philosophy, one of the 4 mottos is "Make Their Day", well maybe I did made her day, but she totally made mine. I talked about this call with some co-workers and my supervisor and they laughed also at this call, since it one of those rare calls we seriously don't expect to end that way.

And most happen to me. XD

On another note, Happy Sky! My copy got shipped yesterday and I'm so happy. And last week my copy of Gyakuten Saiban was delivered, yay. Though I haven't got much to play it though... but I finished the first case =O, it was awesome!

BTW, Chivas FTW. Club Deportivo Guadalajara "Chivas", 101 years making history, and 11 Championships in the making. ^_^
