Watching the Tony Awards (held three days ago) today for Hugh Jackman's special Tony made me see US TV and forgone actors active and in much talent in the Broadway theater stage. The likes of these are Stockard Channing, that guys from Bing Bang theory, that guy from Modern Family and that guy who won featured actor last year.
For the American (US) Talent movies/ the silver screen is the way for big bucks but the stage is where talent really came. Some of these actors are well talented performers that just break through movies or TV for the extra bucks, and fame and sure fire catapult into unimaginable success. But real talent lies in the theater, in the stage. So we can say that people on the US Holywood screen really got talent far and beyond.
Sadly Philippine TV and Cinema has it reversed. People are on TV and Albums and movies just by their looks or a variety show reputation. The only people I can know that doesn't follow this could be where real talent that Philippine showbusiness has right now is Eugene Domingo.
