last night i came home from dinner... and there my mom was, sitting on my bed, sorting through my bookshelf. beside her she had mango tranquility. she tore out the pages i wrote about drinking the other night, and smoking a little while ago... i don't know if i'm getting through to you... she came into MY bedroom, looked for the book, and read it

i was wondering why you looked so sad this morning but i didn't want to open up issues with mr. joiner there. emotions might make him malfunction. don't give up hope. why would she tear the pages out? is she afraid you're going to read about them? does she believe that if they're gone then they didn't happen? i believe that when you give birth, the pain and hormones make you change into a new irrational person. much love
