I made another visit to the University of Winnipeg today, dining at Dessert Sinsations at Dr. Kunstatter's expense. We discussed our paper (which looks like it is slowly moving out of development hell), and I figured out that a particularly difficult differential equation could be solved by Frobenius methods (so yay).

Ignatieff was raised Russian Orthodox. Or is "Jew" just a casual insult now to refer to anybody whose politics differ from your own?

No, but "American" largely is.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the person responsible is the same type of person who simultaneously calls Liberals "anti-semitic" for not being pro-Israel enough.
