Yo-Yo the Ferret

You were always a cute ferret.
So fuzzy and soft in your winter coat,
which you would get in the Summer because you’re a silly ferret.
You would dig at everything
with your sharp claws -
especially our feet.
You are a good friend to Slinky, even when the two of you
have your differences
And you are a good friend to Jump Rope as well.
You are and continue to be missed,
but everyone here is happy for you.
You can now walk, run,
climb, and jump.
You can dig and make real tunnels.
You can sleep and eat to your heart’s content,
and still have plenty of time to herd as many ducks as you want.
Be a good friend to whoever needs you.
We know you will because being a friend comes so naturally to you.
Have fun. We’re glad you’re not alone.
I made a couple of cupcake trays with rubber duckie picks yesterday. I took one to the vet office before I picked Bryce up from work to thank them for taking care of both Yo-Yo and Slinky. Yo-Yo really loved herding and stashing his rubber duckie flock.
