A rather large disappointment...
Well, this is most unfortunate...right now it's 8:57; I've been at a computer lab on campus since about 5:30, and I just tried to save my HUGE project that I've been working on this whole time. Yeah, it didn't save. Apparently, it just disappeared. The guy that works here helped me search for it, and it's just gone. As much as I'd like to blame it on the stupid computers and never come back here again, I am evidently just not computer savvy enough. Evidently, had I saved the file to a location on the computer BEFORE I began working on it, it would still be here. But I didn't...so it's gone. Hmm. I think I might cry...
Well, now that I've explained my crappy situation and wallowed in my sadness briefly, it's time to forget it ever happened. It's time to apply my life philosophy, which is...hey, if it's already done, why worry about it? Worrying won't change a thing. It sucked, but it's done and over. This philosophy can be summed up in one created word - "meh". Meh means "What? I just missed an exam and have to drop the class? Meh..." It means, "Wow, somebody stole my motorcycle! Meh..." In this case, it means, "Man, 3 1/2 hours of working on a project that's due Monday down the drain! Meh..." See how awesome that is? Meh makes everything better...
Ok, I'm happy again...can't let something like this give me a bad day! Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! Particularly you, Laura...cause I know you're extremely excited to be home with your family! I hope you have an awesome time in St. Louis!
