you know, i'm usually a sucker for the cutersy understated girls. angelina jolie was the only one of the lot you could really see at a sensual girl. i'm a bigger fan of softer, girlish girls. an absolute sucker for them. they should have some endowments, clean, good natured. mostly, i go for the cute schoolgirls. minimal make-up, no frills, soft-edged..those of you who know the girl at IHS i was smitten (and still sort of am) smitten with, or have heard of the random other girls i've admired would know this.
but something about Kat VonD, from LA Ink and formerly Miami Ink, really gets me. she smokes, she can have a potty mouth, she's covered in tattoos (i'm not really a fan of them on girls.. even angie's i'm not crazy about. thank god for airbrushing), she's wears heavy make-up.. but ooooh.. something about her just screams to me.
it's not like i haven't liked her before.. she was half the reason i watched miami ink for the past who knows how long. i remember when she first came in as a guest artist cause they were short handed at miami ink..
but right as i tucked myself into bed i had this "mucha on sex" inspiration in my head that refused to go away til i turned my computer on and started scribbling. kat vond seemed like the perfect subject. i really want to do detail with this one, and make it big and pretty. it's kat, so i'm hoping that will keep my attention on the project and get it done in a timely matter (and not sink away die like half a million other things have) i'd really like to do a good job with this one and make my deviant look pretty. everything from scratch, a new style with skills and tools i haven't yet used. i'm excited, thank you kat.
