Things have been hectic lately, it has been a little while since I have posted, but it seems like it was just yesterday.

I might not be going to Hawaii anymore, but we're picking something different.

Additionally, in January I am planning to go to either the areas that were affected by Katrina or else one of the areas where the people will be staying (which in a sense is also an area affected by Katrina, isn't it?) and putting two weeks of my time doing whatever needs to be done. It's something I feel I need to do, and really want to do. If you are interested in hearing more or possibly donating a little to help me pay my way, feel free to email me at seventyx7@gmail.com . Things are still up in the air, nothing is for sure, but as of today, I really want to do this.

School has been good but it has been interesting to see which classes I have done well in, and which ones not so well. For example, I dreaded my Biology Lab at first, but a month into school, I am actually pretty good at it. Spanish I assumed would be easy, but I do not like it so much. Some of you may have known that I... changed my major again (not officially, but mentally) over the summer to Spanish because I figured it would be practical. But that idea is done with, I have no desire to continue a major in it. I guess that right now I am looking at an English major, more specifically a Literature major, and more specifically an American Literature and Culture major. I looked at the courses that I would take and it seems right up my alley, but we'll see how I feel come October 1. Because this is the day that I will begin applying to different places, and I will need to choose something by then.

Gilmore Girls starts tomorrow.

I have a presentation and a test tomorrow.

I was not supposed to work tonight, but I ended up covering a shift. It worked out well because my whole shift for friday is now covered (we switched) which I am happy about. Last I checked, working 9 hours or so on a friday night is not the funnest thing ever. And I only had to work 4 hours today, they let me go early because it was slow. And since I am not really concerned with getting as many hours as possible, I'm happy with how it turned out.

The bad thing is that I really need to prepare more for my test tomorrow. And here I am blabbing to my few but hopefully somewhat loyal livejournal readers. Anyway, I just wanted to leave an update about what has been up with me.

Also: Yesterday my brother wrote something amazing. Daniel, I don't know if you still read this, but I thought that while your writing may not have been the happiest thing ever, it was very thought provoking.

Additionally: Tonight I had to teach my mom how to sing "Old MacDonald (had a farm)." You'd better believe I got a couple of good videos of that mess on my phone.

And Lastly: I wish people from my work did not call me at hours like 1:30am and 6:30am. I love them and all, but I got calls at both of these times, all during the past week.
