the 'make friends' night
tuesday night at the limelight! after arranging with people to go out, the only people that did were debra saz and myself - you bastards know who you are! *ahh i have no money - cough cough - but im going to stock up my stash instead* thus commence the 'night of make friends'!
this simple effective plan was to make as many friends as possible and to photograph them along the way for proof - sadly though this has resulted with a lot of photos of people i cant even remember the name of - yet can still remember how we became 'friends' in the first place - whoops!
friend number 1 - after arriving in the limelight debs and me started the quest with her walking into some guy - not in any normal way however, no no no, she headbutted his mouth while he dug his teeth into her forehead - score!
friends number 2 +3 - the 2nd friend was the guy above who debra pounced upon at the spring and aribrake bar, i then attacked his friend/girlfriend? and explained our lil quest - to receive a series of confused looks - but none the less a photo!
friends no. 4 + 5 = two guys from the spring and airbrake, who liked having their photos taken!
friend no. 6 - debs and me then tried to head back into the limelight, however there was some form of stampede occuring in the doorway separating katy dalys and the limelight, cue momentic film re-enactment as debs clung onto my wrist to be carried away by the crowd and me following in the distance whilst being crushed into guy above, this meant he was my friend :)
wow! people we actually knew before that night!!! sorry if i harassed any of you in my drunken state!
friend no. 7 - i then discovered that i hadnt seen dirty debs or saz in an absolute age so went on a hunt to find them - this consisted of drunkenly powerwalking up and down through the limelight, katy dalys, and the spring and airbrake - note to self never lose people on a tuesday night. after giving up i went back to the original quest and befriended this guy in the spring and airbrake who didnt like having his photo taken but allowed it for the friend quest
friend no. 8 back to limelight where i found this guy who was amazing , and wore a hat - thus in a matter of seconds i think i drunkenly toild him he was my friend - oh dear - not sure if i even told him about the quest :\
friend no. 9 - i must have been more drunk than i thought because i dont remember this photo, or the tale behind it...
after bumping into robbie (who thought it was fancy dress so was wearing a tiarra) i discovered that friend number 7 was his best mate! cue me lighting his cigarette and nearly burning his face - sorry!!!
at the end of the night i eventually found saz! at the same time of which bumped into hat guy!!! i think i screamed, saz was wowed by his hat - cue another photo!
friends no. 10 + 11 (and the rest of the car that then came out too...12, 13, 14) we left the limelight to head to mullys via the esparantos but on the way met 'COLIN'... a story in itself
friends no. 15 +16 - i was somewhat afraid of colin and his mates after being constantly asked to get into their car, i saw these 2 guys walking past and ran to speak to them - turned out one of them recognised me from the dfs and knew i was with gaz and that he had played with david kitt the other night - i then became very confused and i think i kept telling them i didnt normally sound like a man - sorry again!!!
a very interesting game, however i am also feeling rather embarassed and worried if i bump into these people again, now for saturday... (sorry for the long post!)
