Where do I begin? It took place in Columbus, Ohio on August 3rd at 9am 'til 11pm. I spent about an hour getting ready. I got my hair all fixed up and wore make-up. I swear, I looked about 22 or something. I wore a tight leather outfit [belly top], it was sooo very pretty. I loved it. Anyways, I never thought standing for 13 hours would be so amazing. All the bands were awesome except Chevelle, they sucked massively big balls. I'll go on about that later. We got there around 7am but we had to wait for the gates to open so we could park and that was around 8am or something. There was this guy trying to sell shirts before we got in and he was all like, "Dammmmmn, look at this fine girl." Not to brag or anything but I got hit on way too much for my own good. I have never had that many guys just in one day; I was all like "ego boaster". Also, Joey Duenas [lead singer of Unloco] said I was really pretty and he wanted to sign my stomach because it looked nice but I was like, "Do I still get my poster signed?" He was all like fuck yeah, of course. It was so awesome. Hah. Anyways, second stage started performing at 9am, it was raining a little bit but that didn't stop us. It was amazing. all the groups rocked. That is where I met most of the second stage bands. They were at a booth giving autographs for free. The others I met backstage while David Draiman was giving me a tour of the stage. The only groups I had to pay for to get autographs were Disturbed and Cradle of Filth. I was also going to meet Zakk Wylde [the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne] but his tour bus broke down so he couldn't make it to give autographs. That pretty much sucked since we waited in line for an hour and my brother really wanted to meet him. Oh well, there will always be a next time. Second stage ended around 4:50pm but it was all good. The best part of Ozzfest [for me] was hanging out with David Draiman [lead singer of Disturbed] for a few hours. It all started when I went to get their autograph and then I was pulled to the side after everyone got their autographs and was told that David wanted to see me. Ok, first of all...they are my second favorite group and I think he is hot as hell and he wants to see me? I was in shock and almost wet my panties from shock and excitement. Well, I go up to him and he asked me did I want to hang out with him and the band. WTTF? I told him that would be like a blessing. We talked about everything and he was so extremely nice. He told me I was really pretty and we traded numbers [we have talked everyday since after the concert I might add]. He has a VERY big ego and he is so short but you gotta love him. Hah. It’s all good though. I'd never date him. For one, I love Josh way too much and it would just be weird but whatever. He is an awesome friend. He told me at the concert if anyone messed with me to tell him and he would deal with him. How cool is that? He took me backstage and he gave me my "own personal tour". I met Marilyn Manson, Chevelle, and Korn backstage. I just shook their hand and they asked me how I was and did I like Ozzfest. The whole works. It was sooo cool. Anyways, it was around 5pm and Chevelle was the first to perform. THEY SUCKED! I hated every minute of their performance. David said he didn't like them too well neither. Heh. The lead singer of Chevelle was all like, "This is the quietest Ozzfest we have been to. What do you people think, you are at a movie? Give us some respect and stand up." He said something like that and I was like damn, the reason no one is standing because you all don't deserve to be there and you suck. They may have good music but they are horrible performers. Disturbed was next on stage. Oh boy did I ever go so crazy. I WAS ON STAGE WHILE THEY WERE PERFORMING! David worked the crowd the best out of all the bands. They rock so much. I love them. It was indescribable. When David got off stage I told him I was going to sit with my mom and brother and he was nice about it and gave me a hug and told me he enjoyed hanging out with me. I blushed uncontrollably. Hah. We had awesome seats. Korn was after Disturbed then Marilyn Manson and then Ozzy Osbourne came out. Korn and Marilyn Manson were awesome but no one could beat Ozzy. I have never seen so many people go crazy and get so loud when Ozzy came out. He performed from 9pm 'til about 10:40pm. He is truly amazing. I almost cried when he was talking about Sharon being totally cancer free. Everyone started clapping and shouting. That was of the best times I have ever had in my life. We are definitely going to every Ozzfest after this one. Rock on.
