First off, Ozzfest is not just a concert that is evident by the booths, attractions, and things to do. How many shows can you rock climb, kick someone in the head with a soccer ball, do pull-ups with Army people, see a radio show, get a tattoo, get your body painted, throw darts at balloons, and dunk a swearing clown? Also, this was Ozzfest's 10th Anniversary and it was a m a z i n g. I went to Ozzfest with my mother, brother, and boyfriend, Joseph.

Second Stage

Arch Enemy- They started playing at 9:00am instead of 9:20am like they were scheduled. And the gates opened at 9:00am. So, what? Did they start playing even when there were no spectators because THE PLACE WASN'T OPEN YET? A lot of people probably came to see Arch Enemy too. Someone did a good job of screwing up that, whether it be the crew or Nissan's fault. TIt really sucked because they were one of the bands I was really looking forward to, and it really blew that they had to play first. and I got to hear and see some of them. They are such a great band and they were really good. We had to sneak in cameras and I was taking a picture of me and one security guard came up to me and told me I couldn't take pictures, but I still did :P

Trivium- They were great and I enjoyed what I seen of them.

Black Dahlia Murder- They were better than what I expected. I really enjoyed watching them and they were great on stage.

The Haunted- They had to be the best band of Second Stage that I never heard of. The lead singer had a great voice and their songs were so good. Joseph bought their CD from Ozzfest because they were that good.

Bury Your Dead- They were a great band. The only thing I didn't like is that he never changed his voice, but he was so little to have an amazing voice. At the end of their set, Will Smith came out and made the crowd wild. We got a picture of them with Will. I don't believe anyone expected that.

Wicked Wisdom- Before we went to eat, we wanted to see the reaction they would get. From where we were standing, there were a lot of fuck yous, you suck, and a lot people saying,"Where's Will Smith?" HaHa. The music sounded great, but I don't believe she can sing at all. We ate during the whole time they were playing, but I heard the crowd going crazy when Will Smith came out again.

Gizmachi- My mom decided she wanted to rest so she went up in the lawn to relax. Joseph, my brother, and I walked around looking at the booths. I heard them, but didn't see them. They sounded good though.

Soilwork- Joseph, my brother, and I were still walking around as my mother was resting. We went over to the FYE tent and Joseph bought The Haunted's CD and I bought Killswitch's. They sounded good though.

It Dies Today- It started getting crowded around this time. My brother, Joseph, and I were at this booth where you could play the guitar, bass, or drums. I started feeling sick so I went to sit with my mother. I didn't really get to hear them, but I am sure they sounded great.

A Dozen Furies- I hate them and I wish CYN was there than them. I was still sitting with my mom and didn't pay attention to them.

Mastodon- They sounded absolutely wonderful from what I heard. I heard the crowd going crazy.

As I Lay Dying- I was still sitting with my mom then Joseph and my brother came up there. I wish I could've seen them, but there was no way you could go in there it was so packed. I love them and they sounded great.

Killswitch Engage- Definitely my favorite metal band of all time. I had to see them no matter what. It was so packed though so I was in the back, but I didn't care. They sang all of my favorite songs and I, almost, started crying because I lovvvvvvvvvvve them. They are such an amazing band live. I didn't get to watch all of it though because my brother had to get ready to meet Tony Iommi and my mother, Joseph, and I had to get ready to meet Mudvayne. I wish I could've got their autograph, but I know I will have a chance to some day. We are going to see them live if they go on tour soon. This was my second time seeing them.

Rob Zombie- I never liked Rob Zombie's voice, but he blew me away. He is great on stage and so is Jon 5. He is an amazing performer, but I would never buy any of his CD's because I hate the way he sings on CD, but when he is live he sounds amazing. Everyone was going crazy for them, even, people in line to meet Mudvayne, BLS, and Tony Iommi.

Meeting Mudvayne
We got in line at around 3:15pm so we had to wait until 4pm to meet them. We were one of the first few people who were first in line. My brother was in line to meet Tony Iommi at this time as well. We got to see Black Label Society signing autographs and I must say that they are so friendly. We got a few pictures of them as well. They, even, signed autographs after they were finished. They were such a nice bunch of guys. We, also, got to see Shadows Fall giving autographs too. It was around 4pm and we seen Mudvayne coming out. My mom was so excited because she loves them. She kept saying that Chad[the lead singer] is so hot..lol. I must say that he looks much younger in real life than he does on TV and in pictures. When we got up there they started signing our CDs and I asked Chad could I get a picture with him and my mom and he said sure. Then, Chad asked me did I want a picture with him and I was like sure so I got a picture with him too. He is super nice and the bassist was very nice too. The drummer wasn't very nice though, but I GOT TO MEET THEM! My brother got a picture of Tony Iommi[the guitarist for Black Sabbath] and he got to meet him. I am so glad because that is one of his idols.

Main Stage

In Flames- I believe they should've got more than 20 minutes because they were great. I really enjoyed them.

Black Label Society- This was my second time seeing them because they are at Ozzfest every year and I got to see them a little bit last year. Zakk is such an amazing guitarist. They had Dimebag's picture of the amp and my brother was at an awe at Zakk's playing. What guitarist can play with his teeth? He is amazing and I enjoyed them.

Shadows Fall- I loved Brian's [the lead singer] dreds. They are so cool. They are amazing with the crowd and everyone in the pit was enjoying them.

MUDVAYNE- GREAT band! Chad wore a ape suit and put fake blood on his face, Brian painted his face completely black and wore all black…one of the best bassist’s around. And the guitarists (Idk his name) wore these weird goggles and a beanie hat. Great band live…they really proved they could handle the main stage spot perfectly. Pretty much everyone was standing up for them from what I seen and the pit was going crazy. Everyone was singing along and they were amazing. They had to be the second best Main Stage act. I would love to see them again.

Iron Maiden- After what they said about Black Sabbath, they can go fuck themselves. We ate during their whole set and they seemed to have a good crowd, but a lot of people were walking around.

BLACK SABBATH- Wow, where can I start? Everyone was going crazy for them, everyone was standing up, and singing along. They were ten times better this year than they were last year. Ozzy Osbourne had to show his ass like he does every year and they are the best band live. It is always an honor to see them. Ozzy moves around a lot better and he had a chest cold, but he still sounded amazing and who could pull that off?

This Ozzfest was my second favorite Ozzfest I've been to. I will have pictures as soon as I get them developed. I didn't see one girl showing her tits, but there were a lot of people who were drunk which I got a kick out of. This guy during Black Sabbath started pushing my brother and saying he was going to kick his ass so my mother and I were going off on him. I hate drunken idiots like that.
