Third time better be a charm.
When the house shook Dawn and Josh woke with a start. When they woke up they realized they had fallen asleep in eachother's arms, the best way to fall asleep. They nocticed the room was almost pitch black, but they didn't mind. All that mattered was that they were there together and they felt safe. They sat up together and Josh took Dawn's hand and interlocked fingers. They look at eachother and even in the dark they managed to get lost in eachother's eyes. Slowly Josh began to speak...
Josh-"Dawn, I need to tell you something, you may think I'm crazy, hell, I think I'm crazy, but I need to get it out. He took a deep breath. Dawn, I think I am in love...no... I KNOW I am in love with you. I know it is sudden, but, I have always noticed you and I have always felt a...mystical connection between us. He took another deep breath. Dawn, if I am out of line please tell me. I love you"
Dawn sat and absorbed what Josh was saying to her. She too had always felt an unexplain connection between them. She always brushed it off as a crush, but now, she sees she isn't crazy. She breathed in and spoke quickly.
"Josh, you aren't crazy. I too feel what you feel. I thought that I had a simple love at first site thing, but now I see that it is much, much more. I...love you too Josh. She sighed and looked down. Under her breath she said...Buffy's gonna kill me."
Josh squeezed her hand a little and lifted her chin so their eyes met again. He kissed he softly on the lips.
Josh-"Don't worry, everything is going to be ok."
They started kissing, and kissing some more. Josh rolled on top of Dawn and they made out. They didn't even notice the door open, or Buffy standing in the doorway, they were to wrapped up in their love for eachother. True love, so fast, hard to believe, but sometimes fate is funny like that.
