Did I mention "ow?"
lol - I've been working all day today, and every part of me aches... I was helping my grandpa in his farm/yard/whatever alld ay today since I had nothign else to do. This was my day:

-get up at 8:30, start working in yard about 9 (I thought we had practice at noon, so I had to work earlier)
in yard: -dug 32 holes w/ post holes digger (HEAVIER than it should have been)
-transplanted about 18 THORNY blackberry bushes by myself(g-pa did rest)
-crawled on ground, trimmed all new bushes (root systems couldn't support surrent mass), attached wire to posts(for later growth support), collected trimmings and dumped them in the burn pile.
*INTERMISSION! YAY! ..this is when I showered, and found out practice was canceled.
I ate lunch, then played my guitar for 1/2 an hr, then I went to go get some junk to fool around and paint, when I ran into my g-pa again... HEY BRANDON- do you remember that wishful fun stuff? This is what wound up happening:
-more transplanting! this time, blueberry bushes. We had to get the soil tiller(sp?) working, which required 2 trips to the store and lots of brute force to switch the gears, then I had to *yuck* dig in a bucket of grease to fill the grease pump to grease the darned thing...and then, I had to use it. of course, there was a little hill that the tiller would get temporarily stuck on going up (meaning I had to shove, going parallel to the gruond for 5 minutes to move it) or it would want to tilt over goin on the side of the hill. Then, lucky me, I got to rake out new areas for the bushes, dig holes for the plants (only twelve this time), but move about 26 more blueberry bushes (group planting, of course). Oh, I forgot to mention that we had to fill in all of the holes we made from moving the plants, along with putting 6 more blackberry bushes in pots.
-finally, I was done there...for today. he needs me to help sometime tomorrow, too.
-Went on a quick 15 minute run, showered, cleaned the kitchen, then helped with dinner, and now - I'M DONE! I realized something:
-I need to leave my house. I found a shortcut to the highlands yesterday when I went for a long run...going through some "backcountry" (old limerock road, hopping a fence to an old pasture, hopping another barbed wire fence, then running through a small path of woods) I found a road that is right next to Seneca, which goes straight to Apopka....maybe I'll see how far I can run into town tomorrow, since i have nothing better to do? I don't even have New Year's plans..probably more nothing at the house. *although, "farm" work is very theraputic. A little bit of growing, and a lot of ripping and digging and chopping.. ;) SEE YA LATER ALLIGATORS!
