Dear Alex Ferguson,

We don't often see eye to eye when it comes to football, but for once I think you make an excellent point. The officiating at Old Trafford on Saturday was indeed nothing short of a disgrace. A referee who applied the laws correctly would have awarded a penalty for Neville's blatant foul on Anelka, sent off Scholes by the 33rd minute, and dismissed Neville as well in the second half. What a pity that Mike Dean's performance interfered with the integrity of the match and left some viewers and pundits with the mistaken impression that United actually deserved anything other than utter humiliation on the day.

P.S. The last goal United scored against Chelsea was Rooney's equalizer in the Community Shield. The goal occurred in stoppage time, sent the match to a penalty shoot-out, and was clearly offside. So before you whinge about Drogba's winner take a moment to fold that into corners and shove it, you pathetic, hypocritical windbag.

Ah, the undeniable genius of me. Before the match I predicted a minimum of three blatant officiating cock-ups in United's favor, and Mike Dean certainly delivered. While his decision on the day to avoid making any big decisions at least led to him accidentally making the correct call with United's two so-called penalty claims, it also led to him denying Chelsea the only legitimate penalty of the match as well as failing to dismiss Paul Scholes for his third and fourth dangerous challenges, then turning a blind eye to Gary Neville's dissent and fourth bad foul despite his earlier booking. And don't even get me started on Ferdinand's scissor tackle through Anelka's legs that apparently didn't even merit a free kick or Macheda's obvious handball. Well done, Mike Dean, for adding yet another horror show to this season's already impressive greatest hits collection. And well done, Mike Riley and the PGMO, for making sure that thousands of people around the world saw that officiating in the English Premier League is a complete joke.

Oh, well, at least this time Chelsea had the last laugh. What an immense performance from all the lads! I'm chuffed for Joey, delighted that Flo is finally getting the love he deserves, and especially proud of Yury and Paulo for making the doubters eat humble pie. Here's hoping the boys can keep the momentum going and make this season something truly special!

flo mo, rage omg, paulo: still the prettiest, chelsea, get off the planet mike dean, yury with a y, referees are turd, joey cole: here there & everywhere
