Something bugs me about people
When I meet someone who lives passively but passes judgment actively it bothers me to no end. This sounds almost ridiculous coming from a medium as passive as a livejournal post and actively making a judgment about people, but all the same. It almost feels as if they shouldn't have the right. Shouldn't have the right to impose a system of good and bad on other people, or I suppose "the world," when they aren't actively trying to make things more the way they want it or things to be.
So many of the hardest lessons for me to live with have been about tempering my broad idealism enough to know that these things won't change and that I can only simply do the things I do without worrying about the choices other people make.
