so I went camping, and got not one but two leeches on both feet. It was nonconsecutively, the first time was after I went swimming in the lake. The second was after all 4 other campers were standing in the water for 5 minutes (and not getting hit) and loading the canoes. I stepped on a rock in the water for 5 seconds just to get in and got leeched. Fortunately there wasn't any damage or blood or bites or anything. I burned and salted the bastards off.

Mountain camping > lake camping

I also went to habitat 67 and have been having a pretty great summer so far. Not quite as good as last year, but I've got a whole other half to fill in.
