Considering I'm a skeptic, I can't say for certain whether it's ghostly or not. I can, however, say there are things I can't explain that have happened to me.
Yes, I have! (I love talking about the paranormal.) Now, I never actually SAW anything, because if I had I think I would have passed out, but I had one experience when I was in Ireland one summer that I can't explain and it really scared the crap out of me. I was visiting my then-boyfriend's family, and one night I was sitting in the kitchen with the Boy having a 2 am snack as I was suffering from jet lag and my sleeping pattern was all screwed up. Somehow the subject got onto ghosts, and he said that while his house wasn't haunted, his dad had a ghost story or two. He started telling me about how when his dad was a little boy he used to always wave hello to this old lady who lived up the street as he passed her house going to school, and she would wave back. Well, one day he waved at her just like usual and she spoke back, and he mentioned it to his mother. His mother looked shocked, and told him that the lady had died a day or two previously. Oh! Here's the entry I was looking for! Yes, I've had several experiences. I've lived in a few haunted houses in my life. I'll just tell you one tale for the moment: I had come home from picking up groceries and was walking from the kitchen to the living room. There were two men sitting on my couch. They were both heavyset, dressed in sweaters and ties and they looked a bit like Roger Ebert. They were twins! They kept laughing and picking at each other, but made no noise. A few seconds later, they vanished.
