Making some progess on the
Snowflake Challenge:
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.
These are all Yuletide fics, but anyway.
Omnia Vincit Amor by kittydesade - Haven, Nathan/Duke. In which Audrey, Nathan and Duke fail to stop the Troubles on this cycle and Audrey goes, leaving Nathan and Duke to pick up the pieces and make a life without her. I love how it plays out in this story, how Nathan and Duke are Nathan and Duke, and how they made a decision that might actually break the cycle the next time around.
The Ballad of Bold Teuber the Robber by arrogantemu - Settlers of Catan. It probably helps to have some familiarity with the game, but except for a few references it probably stands on its own. I love the rhythm and the language of this, it feels like a ballad and has that sense of history to it.
Over Time by signe - Continuum, Keira/Kellogg. Keira is fantastic in this, trying to find her way in 2012 and to deal with the weight of her 2077 life, and her attraction to Kellogg.

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
