Tree ablaze underneath
Purple night sky.
Thick black smoke
Drifts upwards,
joining the infinite Heavens.
An angel dangles from
smouldering branches,
Arms hung limp at It's side,
Wings moulting
dropping pure white Feathers
at It's Feet.

the rope creaks
when Winds blow
and stir the pile of White
into a tiny Tornado.
Face purple and blue
Tongue lolled garrishly
from It's silent Mouth.

No messages will be delivered
by God anymore.

god, fire, poetry, tree
