Bam’s eyes peeled open to the feeling of 50 daggers driven into his stomach and head.

He stumbled into the darkness of the bathroom and fished the cabinets and drawers for

painkillers. He thought he heard someone stirring downstairs. Usually this was typical in

the Margera household no matter the hour. But on this night, he was the only person in

the house. It must just be the throbbing in my head, he thought. Blackness flooded

indoors and out indicating the world was still in the early hours of a new day. His fingers

finally wrapped themselves around a bottle of painkillers. He poured several into his

hand and dry swallowed them. Footsteps. Unmistakable footsteps. Bam held his breath

and fell back against the wall as he watched a tall, dark figure ascend the stairs to

approach him.

“Bam?” A deep voice laden with a heavy Finnish accent cooed.

The breath rushed out of Bam’s lungs and his tired body fell into Ville’s open arms.

“Willa, you scared the shit out of me! Normally people don’t just walk into your house at

random hours of the morning.”

“You were the one who gave me a key.” Bam rolled his eyes and sighed.

“For a moment I feared you wouldn’t be here which would have made this trip

meaningless.. I came here to talk to you Bam. We need to talk. Can we go into the living

room or something?”

“Yeah, sure.” Bam’s gaze was toward the floor and he nervously ruffled the hair closest

to the back of his neck. Ville led the way down the stairs and turned on a light on his way

to the couch.
