(no subject)

I scoff at democrats. And republicans also, but that's beside the point.

So in other news, I went to this highlands debriefing session thing. Highlands is this neo-nazi-communist-capitalist-other-stereotypically-bad-stuff test (developed by psychometric psychologists... mwahahaha) that tells you what you're interests are and what you're good at... and then based on that, what would be the perfect career for you. I'm INFP... no surprise. Except I'm a pretty weird INFP in that I'm nearly an INTP. Whoot. But basically what she told me was I need to either be a film director or join something like peace corps. And I need a job where I'm making some kind of difference to humanity and something I'm passionate about and I can't work in some kind of capitalist corporate cookie desk job cubicle thing. I like the letter C. I also have no sense of rhythm (spelling probably wrong) which ruins all my hopes and dreams of being a drummer or a happy harmonica player. Though the latter could probably be accomplished. And that's basically all I've got to say on that subject.

She also strongly suggested going to a small college and pursuing a film internship/camp over the summer. And so I was basically like "psh, whatever".

She also said that my response to the scenario where "you are a psychologist and someone walks into the room and says 'I'm depressed'" was "extremely interesting" (response being, "I'd first think 'is this true or do they just want the meds?'"). I thought my response made sense.
