(no subject)
i get paid about 150 dollars every two weeks, and i've yet to understand how i'm able to buy myself things every week. there was a 6 month period of my life where i was taking home 500 dollar paychecks every two weeks, and i don't have a DAMN thing to show for it, and here i am making what, for all intensive purposes, could be classified as "chump change."
anyways, this is what i treated myself to today:
contains: chef knife, bread knife, carving knife, utility knife, boning knife, paring knife, cooking shears, 5 measuring cups, 5 measuring spoons, 5 kitchen "tools" (ie. soup ladle, spatula, etc.) a wooden block, and a timer.
bamboo spatula, bamboo spoon, and bamboo rice paddle.

and a few days ago i got myself this:
it's a red peace sign in the shape of a heart. it's been over a year since i've had anything done. the outline hurt like hell and it was the first piece i've ever gotten that bled. but i love it!
