(no subject)
last night was really nice. brian took me out to dinner at tgifriday's, and then we went to target and the mall to do some christmas shopping. i normally haaaate christmas, but it's nice this year. i hope i won't get into my usual december cranky-mode that comes on with no abilities to fix it, because that's what ruined my relationship with kristen and i don't want that to happen with this one, too. but i bet i won't because the holidays are tremendously better when you have someone to share them with. AND AND THANKSGIVING IS COMING SOON AND IT'S MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY AND I GET TWWWOOOO DINNERSSSS SDGKDJSGF.
then he took me to coldstone and i got the strawberry shortcake serenade which SDKLFJSLDKJG. SO GOOOOD OMG. um and thennn we went home and watched movies and snuggled and it was nice. :]
but i feel really bad for him because he was supposed to work 11AM-10PM, and now he can't leave until all the shipment is put away, so he'll be there until about 1 AM. and that is a 14 hour shift, plus an hour each way of driving time, and he has to be back at the store tomorrow at 10. :\ blech.
i talked to kristen and she said that she put me on to open both days because she knows she "can't get jon in that early." how's that my fault? he's the fucking assistant manager and you're the manager, MAKE HIM. SCHEDULE HIM FOR THAT. it's not that hard. i mean, i guess it's good that she thinks i'm so reliable and trustworthy and blahblah, but still. assistant manager vs. six-month employee. hmmm..
in good news, i got to eat leftover potato skins for dinner. aaaand brian called me earlier just to tell me he loved me, literally. aaand for once, i get to sleep in tomorrow with nothing to do (no bowling cuz brian's gone), and I'M SO EXCITED OMG. i haven't had a lazy gabbi day in so longggg <3
