(no subject)
1) i'm not going to rochester. i found out a few days ago but i've been bummed and spending time with brian so i didn't really post. his DM booked his hotel monday-friday, which means that we couldn't go up tonight and brian has to leave at 5:30 AM to drive up so he'll be there for work, and then just go to his hotel after. which is stupid, because they're paying for friday and he's driving home thursday night, but they emailed him late on friday night so he couldn't talk to anyone about changing it. i'm really bummed because i was sooo excited, but whatever. i think my mom is taking me to the syracuse mall next monday to make up for it and fulfill my shopping needs. :)
2) i had to go to a payless meeting today and only seven people showed up. the meeting was supposed to start at 9, and april, kristen, and i were the only ones there on time and some of the people came at 9:40. THAT'S FORTY MINUTES LATE FOR A MEETING. WTF. i feel like we just should have cancelled it at 9:25 because then i could have gone to brian's and napped with him until he woke up. but they didn't, and we got done at 10:30 and i went to dunkin' donuts and got a half-dozen doughnuts (two for me, two for brian, two for mommy) and some hot chocolate and went over to his house to bring him breakfast because i am a nice girlfriend.
3) we saw dan in real life today and i really really loved it. it wasn't as funny as the previews made it out to be, but it wasn't some mushy love movie either. i really, thoroughly enjoyed it.
4) THE PATRIOTS WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BITCHES. I KNEW THEY WOULD. THEY'RE MY BOOOOYS ♥ ♥ ♥ also i took a nap for the whole third quarter but i'm okay with it cause i was sleepy.
5) i got a 157 in one game tonight and a 394 overall! that's only six pins away from a 400! :D
6) lucy scratched the shit out of my wrist today when i was trying to pet her, and i have a few big, long, bleeding red lines. i put bandaids on them and it makes me feel like i used to feel when i had bandaids from cutting myself -- the thrill that no one could tell, that it was a secret no one knew from just looking at me. i kept feeling them through my shirt all night and it felt nice to have them there, even if it wasn't an intentional cut. it kind of worries me that i felt that way.
7) i saw a very cute light brown and white yorkshire terrier puppy at the petstore today and i wanted him SO BAD omg. i also saw lops bunnies whose ears were practically as big as their body and they were softer than my bunnies and they were nicer and the one i liked was dark grey with a brown muzzle. ♥ wants.
8) i didn't do my psych midterm. it's my online class, and i often forget to sign in during the week (we're supposed to post a comment to the discussion during the first three days (it starts on sunday), and then two more times over the course of the week to respond to others' comments) and so when i saw on friday that our midterm was due saturday, i knew i was fucked. so i just didn't turn it in, instead of trying to rush and get it wrong. it's only 15% of my grade, and honestly? i could care less about school this semester. i'm so apathetic about it -- i dropped my humanities class on friday, i'm doing shitty in psych, i have a D in bio. the only classes i care about are bio and my english class, and i'm almost failing one of them, so. whatever. i hate school. hate.
9) we made shrimp with rotelli pasta and alfredo sauce and chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and slfgjsldfkjdfg. I LOVE FOOD. now i may have a tunafish sandwich and some pickles because that sounds delightful.
10) i hate daylight savings time because it messes me and my body up. it's not so bad when i gain an hour of sleep, but it's crazy when some clocks changed last week and some clocks need to be changed manually and others do it automatically and i'm like WHAT IS THE REAL TIME OMG. i get easily confused. =(
