I finished another hat! This one is for suitablehustle, If she still wants it.
It's the cutest little thing ever (even though something about the coloring of the photo is driving me nuts...) I've already started on another apple hat that I'm going to put in my Etsy shop as soon as it's done. Something needs to be in that shop before the end on the week or my head will pop.
Speaking of cute little things, my Mom was out running errands yesterday and bought me a few things. I love presents and I love it even more when they are unexpected and for no real reason.
It's a mini iron!!
I don't know why it impresses me so much but it does. She says that it would be good to use while I'm sewing (very true) and stuff. She even tried to surprise me with it when I got home from another miserable day at school. I'd only asked her for gray yarn (which she bought in three different shades!) and she got yarn, a mini iron, transfer paper (it makes me happy) and this cool little bag to put my current sewing projects in so that the ball isn't being attacked by the dog. I used it while I did the last few rows on the hat and it works so well. My Mom always brings the coolest gifts.
And I've picked a Halloween costume. I'm during "research" on it right now. lol.
I've also picked out the 'Thank You' card to send to Moleskine. Yes, there are things on my to-do list that are actually being checked off!
