yesterday was my birthday. the day started off negative my mom always knows what to say to make me upset and make me feel soo small. i don't even want to talk about it. so after coming home lockin myself in my room, and crying for about an hour i decided enough was enough and it was time for me to get up and not let anyone ruin my day because i've decided NOONE is worth me degrading myself for anymore. so matt came over and made me smile as usual and got me going. then suprisingly he told me I HAD TO take the bus by myself to the mall to meet bre to have dinner. i couldnt go anywhere besides applebees in the mall w/her he was flipping out it was soo weird. so me & bre went, ate alot and got stared at by 13 year olds who looked like they never saw girls eat before in their lives. it was soo odd. so from there we walked around and shopped and talked about life which really made me feel better about what happened that morning. bres dad came and picked us up to take me back to matts and he said he forgot his wallet and needed to go back to the house to get it before he took me and i totally believed it. than bre asked me to come in to look at her prom pictures. than me, totally oblivious to the food and soda on the table walked downstairs and saw gerald one of matts friends. but i was like theres no way thats gerald so i figured maybe she had a friend that looked like him. when i walked down the stairs about 20 people screamed suprise at me and matt was standing in the middle of the room. he threw me a mini suprise party. i swear i almost died. it brightened up my whole day and made my birthday. i didn't even care when i came home and walked right passed my mom and went up to my room and noone in my family asked me how my day was. it was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me and i just want to thank everyone who was there for making me smile regardless of how bad i felt. it was one of the most memorable days of my life.

i guess sometimes bad situations turn into good ones and sometimes people come around and show you that not everyone in the world is a scumbag and there are people out there who actually care about you.
