Dream
For my friends who are better at interpreting dreams. I had a dream I am interested in any particular significance other than the obvious.
Two pieces of background necessary; my dad as severe Alzheimer’s, my dad is a member of a biker club called The Ugly’s and he was at one point (about 5 years ago) MC (“man in charge” for those of you not in the know).
I had a dream last night that my dad and I were at an Ugly event in Vegas. There was a new MC who didn’t really know Dad at all, and all kinds of new guys. At some point in the event they are making some announcements and Dad interrupts it by going up on the stage to say hello to someone. A bunch of big bruisers/security guys come out and herd him off stage. I tried to slip around to the side but no one would let me back there and they kept telling me he would be fine.
After the formal stuff is over and everyone is breaking up, the new MC (who is oddly wearing a suit) comes over and tells me that they can’t find my Dad. He says that Dad was talking to some people, they all turned their back, and he must have wondered off because they can’t find him. I get very angry and shove the guy back into a chair. We start contacting the casino security, Vegas police, and the likes, sending everyone out looking for my Dad but two days pass and we never find him.
I woke up while still looking, so there was no resolution of whether or not he was found.
