(no subject)
This b.s. with the snow only falling on weekends is really post officing me. The show tonight was canceled and I'm pretty disappointed.
In other news, my interview went pretty good and I think it's the school for me. The town is so cute, the people seem really nice, and the program looks perfect. I'm sending in my application right away.
Also, we signed a contract and, unless for some reason they change their mind, we're moving to Derry, NH in May. So uhh, there goes my job and all the sweet vacation time I would have earned had we stuck around. I was kind of looking forward to taking a week off in the summer. Annoying.
But, it kinda looks like I should go back to camp in this case. I need a job from May until school starts and camp sounds kind of perfect for that. I'd work pre-season. I can't really think of another job that's going to hire me for that short period of time. My current boss is going to be unhappy that not only am I not working there after the fall but now I'm quitting in May! Plus I really really miss a lot of people and some of my favorites are coming back.
So I e-mailed the camp today letting them know that I'm interested and I asked what they have open at this point. I told them I was sorta thumbs down on the whole video idea this time around but would do it if they took my suggestions into consideration (better equipment and stuff like that) I said I'd really like to be a general counselor but I'm open to other positions too. So we'll see what they say. Where I was invited back I'm assuming they'll take me at this point. Before I'd let them know that I just really wasn't sure so it's not like I said no.
So if all goes according to plan, here's going to be my life for the next year
Now to May: Living in Fitzwilliam and working at Concord Industries
May to mid-August: Camp in Hinsdale, MA
September to May: Living in Waltham, MA and going to CDIABU.
Sounds good to me.

Oh, one more thing. I ordered a CIA shirt online because they came out with new ones and I never bought one of the old ones. So seeing as how they aren't coming back up for a while I figured I'd buy one that way. So Jesse replied to the order:
This is a confirmation that your order has been received and will ship on Monday March 19th 2007... unless you live in VT or NH in which case you should not expect a package in the mail... ever...
Thanks for the order Jessay! I'll get it out to you priority this Monday, you should have it by the end of next week!
