If you were in art school for 4.5 years(!!!) then what's with your icon? bad? why yes, yes it is.chestersmomAugust 29 2006, 01:30:37 UTC
woah! caps lock! you must really be upset!
I know Jessica better than you ever will. First of all, I may not still be friends with her, but I still worry about her. I have a right to.
GET A LIFE, AND GUESS WHAT HE DID REALLY LIKE HER ALOT, HE DID LIKE HER FOR HER, HE WANTED TO TAKE CARE OF HER. Hun, I have a life. You're the 25 year old that's still using a livejournal. I know he liked her, I know he wanted to take care of her. But why would she date him if she seriously wasnt attracted to him? That's just a waste of time, why would you ever date someone and try and force yourself to love them? That's just going to hurt the other person in the end. I felt bad for him when he started dating Jessica because I figured she would hurt him, and he deserved better than that. There's a theory to why he liked her, "Paul" is the type of person that wants to 'save people' in my opinion, it makes sense since he wants to be a cop. He wanted to help Jessica, but you shouldnt date someone just to save them.
You act like you've had so much experience, but every situation is different, why force your opinion on her if she wasnt asking for it specifically? You dont know her like I know her. How many times have you hung out with her? How many times have you sat with her on the phone while she's bawling her eyes out over past relationships? He may be your best friend, but she was mine.
And to respond to your 'past experience' with an older man, one of my best friends now is dating someone much older than her, and it's working out wonderfully. She's 18, he's 23. "I KNOW FROM EXPIRENCE IT DOESNT WORK" Like I said before, every situation is different. You can't judge someone just on that.

I didnt just want to save her...Yeah i am the type of person to protect peopel I know this. But I truly liked and loved her for her. Her personality, her looks, her smile everything. She brought out a good part of me, the more care free side of me, so please dont say i was just dating to "protect" her. And I appreciate the concern you showed to me over the phone the other day, thank you.

And also, my friend wasnt trying to pass judgement on her. through wonderous LJ emotion and tone of voice cannot be construed through this medium. She is only looking out for me. We have known each other for years, and she has been a true friend to me over the years. So please dont be so quick to pass judgement on her intentions even though you accused her of doing something similar., and also this post comes after the one below, im not sure how these are ordered.
