Don't worry. I also had to go through that "nursing phase". -___- I really don't want to spend the rest of my life wiping other people's asses. Yay. :D

I swear. It pisses me off till kingdom (hearts 2!) come.

I feel it's only going to be a matter of time before I lash out in the LRT and go in with a picket sign saying "WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO BETRAY YOUR COUNTRY" and at the same time smack the people in nursing uniforms with it. Endlessly.

Look on the bright side:

1. Tuition's relatively cheap in UP so continuing your education after you cut ties with your parents will be much more manageable here than if you were in some place like Ateneo.

2. Favorite student ka ni Arnie. He gave his other students lower grades to properly reflect your advantage over them.

3. I know of a handful of people who have the hots for you.

...thanks.

Don't mention the arnie thing in public O.O word might spread around to one of my classmates.

I don't have compliments for you though. ;;) although I'm glad you're in a better mood now.

How come no one tells me things anymore!

To Lester: You have to tell your parents that nursing is uh... specialized course. I mean personally, even if I know I can take up nursing (academically), I know I'm not a natural healer, so that won't work out (major total klutz). So what if there's an opportunity cost of earning $45/hr? The thing is, you can only be an efficient part of the global labour force if you actually like what you studied.

The ideal answer is that all people are different, and have different talents and interests. No one can force you to take nursing just because it's a profitable job, or choose a course over another just because it'll earn you more money. The reality of it is that you're never going to get anywhere in the long-term if your heart's not into what you're doing.

Go ahead and choose the course you want, and be the best at it that you can, and earn more cash than what anyone thinks you would have gained in another course like nursing.

We'll show them, won't we, Hedgie?
